Custom Field Values in Nexonia can be filtered to only be available for specific project types. They can be used to capture additional details and for reporting purposes, approval processes, or specific types of integrations.
This article will show you how to filter a custom field by project type.
Step 1: On your Nexonia homepage, click the gear icon to access your company settings.
Step 2: In the Company tab, click Custom Fields.
Step 3: Click the pencil icon to edit the custom field.
Step 4: Click Project Type in the Filter by drop-down menu.
Step 5: Click Apply.
Step 6: Next, you will need to filter the values of this custom field that should be available for the applicable project type(s). Start by clicking the Other tab.
Step 7: In the Project Types tab, click into an applicable project type by clicking the pencil icon.
Step 8: Click Custom Fields.
Step 9: Click Edit next to the applicable custom field.
Step 10: Click the checkbox next to Enabled and click Save.
Please Note: This has to be done for any project type for which you wish to enable values from this custom field.
