This article lists common error messages which may be returned from NetSuite when running a configuration sync with NetSuite.

Configuration Sync Errors:
Error: The user running this synchronization would be disabled as a result of executing this integration.
Reason: The error message indicates that the user running the configuration sync will be inactivated due to not being configured in NetSuite or is not configured to be synced from NetSuite with Nexonia,
Solution: To resolve, ensure that the affected user running the sync is set up in NetSuite such that it can be successfully synced with Nexonia. Please refer to this Nexonia Help Center Article for instructions: Synchronizing Nexonia Users from NetSuite Employees or Vendors
Error: NetSuite Message: Data configuration sync for ‘Customer_Name’; Invalid username/password; Invalid login attempt.
Reason: This error message means that the NetSuite credentials that Nexonia uses to connect to NetSuite could not be validated, so Nexonia could not connect to NetSuite to run the Configuration Sync. If the NetSuite Administrator username and/or password have changed recently, that is likely the cause.
Solution: In Nexonia, please navigate to Integration tab > Integration Setup > Configuration Data > click the Edit Parameters link. You'll find the credentials set in the General tab. Ensure that the Company ID, User ID and User Password are correct and match the NetSuite Administrator credentials as entered on the NetSuite login form.
You can then initiate a configuration sync from Integration tab > Configuration Sync > Synchronize Now.
Note: you may wish to update the authentication method to Token Based to avoid this error in the future.
Error: NetSuite Message: Data configuration setup for 'Company_Name': Call to NetSuite failed: ERROR (INSUFFICIENT_PERMISSION) - Permission Violation: The subsidiary restrictions on your role prevent you from seeing this record.
Reason: This error message means that the NetSuite Employee’s credentials which Nexonia uses to connect to NetSuite does not have administrative rights/permission to all the subsidiaries in NetSuite.
Solution: In NetSuite, confirm, if the employee’s user role has full administrative permission over all the subsidiaries in NetSuite.
Error: NetSuite Message: Data configuration setup for 'Company_Name': Your connection has timed out. Please log in again.
Reason: Every time Nexonia tries to run a configuration sync with NetSuite, it tries to establish a connection with NetSuite server. Multiple reasons (e.g. the target server is unresponsive, or have latency or high traffic) can contribute to the connection request to fail and generate this error message.
Solution: From Nexonia, go to Integration tab > Configuration Sync > Synchronize Now. It will trigger a manual sync, and run the configuration sync between NetSuite and Nexonia. If manual sync is not triggered, then the next automated sync (usually scheduled to run over night or early morning) will perform the sync.
Error: Unexpected Error
Reason: The error message is generated when Nexonia tries to establish a connection with NetSuite (for either syncing configuration data or exporting data) and NetSuite's server stays unresponsive or takes too long to respond.
Solution: You can manually trigger another sync by going to the NetSuite tab > Configuration Sync > Synchronize Now.
Error: Date configuration setup for "(company name)": Supervisor/Approver 'v/1234' of Vendor "(vendor name) (v/4567) creates a cycle in the hierarchy tree".
Reason: Nexonia doesn't support a circular hierarchy. You likely have a circular hierarchy set in place in NetSuite, which prevents the configuration sync from being completed. Example: if User A is User B's manager, and User B is User C's manager, then User C cannot be User A's manager.
Solution: Look for the IDs referenced in the error message in NetSuite to determine which employee(s) need to be modified in NetSuite. There must be at least one person at the top of the hierarchy who does not have a supervisor/manager. After making modifications in NetSuite, run a configuration sync in Nexonia again.
Error: Data configuration setup for "(company name)": SuiteTalk concurrent request limit exceeded. Request blocked.
Reason: There is a concurrent request limit on NetSuite's side which has been exceeded. For example, if you have multiple failed exports and trigger the sync manually multiple times in an effort to resolve the failed attempts, you will reach your limit much faster, generating this error message.
Solution: Ask NetSuite to increase the concurrent request limit for your account.
